Things have only heated up for alumna Kathleen Hepburn's debut feature film, Never Steady, Never Still, which premiered earlier this fall at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Hepburn has now won the B.C. Emerging Filmmaker Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival, and the Emerging Canadian Director Award from the Directors' Guild of Canada—in addition to VIFF's $20,000 Sea to Sky Award, which recognizes the work of a female key creative in a B.C.–produced feature or short film.
